Job summary

Global Enterprise Services, Llc is seeking a Principal Network Security Engineer to design and implement enterprise security across a distributed environment. The role requires leadership, advanced architecture work, and hands-on engineering across next-gen firewalls, VPNs, and zero-trust networking.

The position is based at DISA HQ / Fort Meade area with five days in the office and potential remote work one day. Secret clearance is required and the salary range is $160,000 to $175,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 12+ years for senior level, or 10+ with Master's.
• Experience designing and implementing network security in large-scale enterprises.
• Senior technical leadership directing network and security engineers.
• Experience leading security engineering projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement enterprise network security architecture across diverse environments.
• Lead segmentation, access control, and secure connectivity with data-flow mapping.
• Develop plans, coordinate changes, and ensure compliance and validation.
• Mentor engineers, present to authorities, and maintain technical standards.
