Qualifications

• Must hold a current CCIE or CCDE in Enterprise Infrastructure (or equivalent) active for at least 5 years.
• Eligible for Public Trust Tier 2 clearance (background check via U.S. Capitol Police).
• 8–10 years of progressively responsible enterprise network engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Juniper JunOS, or Aruba.
• Experience with enterprise firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet).
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• ISE, SIEM integration (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar).
• Automation: Python, Ansible, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Network Architecture: design scalable, resilient Cisco-based networks across core to edge layers.
• Zero Trust: implement segmentation and least-privilege access; 802.1X.
• Security Leadership: lead assessments, audits, and remediation efforts.
• Perimeter Security: manage firewalls and optimize rules for public assets.
• Technical Leadership: advise CBO stakeholders and mentor engineers.
• Policy & SOPs: develop and annual update Network SOPs.
• Incident Response: provide network analysis, containment, and RCA.
