Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the Congressonal Budget Office (CBO) secure Cisco-based network under the SENTRY BPA. The role focuses on strong security posture, incident response support, and compliance with federal cybersecurity policies.

Responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure, plus implementing routing protocols, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and network segmentation with Zero Trust alignment.

Qualifications

• CCNP certification maintained for 5+ years
• Eligible for Public Trust Tier 2 clearance
• 5+ years enterprise network engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS/NX-OS and L2/L3 networking
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 and Zero Trust Architecture
• Automation experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform is desirable

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infra
• Implement and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
• Maintain DNS, DHCP, NTP, IPAM services
• Support Zero Trust and network segmentation initiatives
• Log network activity to SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel)
• Remediate vulnerabilities and patch network devices
• Assist incident response with network-level analysis and containment
