Job summary

Venatôre LLC in Tampa, FL, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure large‑scale enterprise networks for USCENTCOM CITS. You will lead SD‑WAN, zero‑trust, cloud integrations, and network automation to support mission‑critical operations on‑site at MacDill AFB.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with Cisco/Arista ecosystems, NSX/ACI, and strong leadership across cross‑functional teams; travel up to 10% annually to CONUS/OCONUS per program needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible network engineering experience.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance.
• Expert-level knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or comparable enterprise networking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise network designs providing routing, segmentation, resiliency, scalability, and automation.
• Architect secure network solutions using Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, Cisco ISE, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies.
• Integrate Zero Trust principles and identity-based access controls across on‑premises, hybrid‑cloud, and multi‑cloud environments.
• Develop architecture diagrams, schematics, and implementation documentation.
• Configure and manage LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, VPN, data center, and cloud‑connected networks.
• Lead network lifecycle activities including upgrades, maintenance, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Design secure connectivity between on‑premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
