Job summary

Northwood Space seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the corporate network and hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will own campus facilities network architecture, implement zero-trust segmentation, and ensure secure, highly available connectivity across on-prem, AWS GovCloud, and Cloudflare.

You will collaborate with security to meet ITAR/CMMC requirements, manage FortiGate and Cloudflare Zero Trust, and drive network automation and monitoring across distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years experience in enterprise networking.
• Experience deploying FortiGate firewall infrastructure and policies.
• Experience with zero-trust network architectures and microsegmentation.
• Cloud networking experience in AWS GovCloud and multi-cloud setups.

Responsibilities

• Design and build LAN infrastructure for offices and facilities.
• Own network lifecycle management across multiple facilities.
• Deploy and manage enterprise wireless across facilities.
• Implement zero-trust architecture across on-prem and cloud.
• Manage FortiGate policies and network zone enforcement for ITAR workloads.
• Design and manage hybrid connectivity between on-prem, AWS GovCloud, and Cloudflare backbone.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and automate network performance and security.
