As a Senior Network Engineer supporting Vy Systems in New York, NY (Hybrid, local C2C only), you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise network architecture, routing administration, firewall configuration, and performance optimization across hybrid environments. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), secure VPN tunnels, routers, switches, and advanced firewalls, configuring and troubleshooting core routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and VLANs, monitoring network performance, bandwidth utilization, and latency metrics to ensure uncompromised uptime, collaborating closely with cross‑functional IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and client stakeholder squads in Agile sprint cycles, conducting rigorous root cause analysis (RCA) for network anomalies, outages, and connectivity bottlenecks, implementing robust network security policies, access control lists (ACLs), and zero‑trust security baselines, preparing comprehensive technical documentation of network topologies, firewall rule bases, and operational runbooks, and managing application requirements ensuring strict compliance with the local C2C contract model and New York hybrid presence.
