Responsibilities

• Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintaining system backup and recovery capabilities.
• Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software, as well as subcontractor services as needed.
• Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks.
• Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks.
• Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance network capabilities.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

The engineer will work daily alongside engineering staff at the site to become thoroughly familiar with the unique processes and requirements related to DoW-specific configurations and challenges. This role will also serve as a team lead.

Education:

• Associates Degree or equivalent
