Job summary

Abile Group, Inc is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a complex network infrastructure for a federal government client in Quantico, Virginia. The role involves gathering requirements, troubleshooting, and enhancing network solutions.

The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree, minimum six years of experience, and an Active Top Secret Clearance. Expertise with Cisco technologies and Layer 2 technologies is critical. This is a 100% onsite position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing network solutions.
• Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI.
• CI polygraph test requirement after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Gather user network requirements to provide technical documentation.
• Install, maintain, and evaluate network systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
• Conduct network architecture design and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate to develop new network designs.
• Improve processes for deploying and maintaining network infrastructure.
• Work independently and collectively to enhance network solutions.

Experience with Cisco routing platforms

Routing protocols knowledge (BGP, EIGRP, etc.)

Layer 2 technologies (STP, VLANs)

Providing Tier 3 support
