Job summary

The role requires 7+ years in network administration, CCNA/CCNP preferred, and a Secret clearance. Proficiency with Wireshark and SDN architectures will be valuable in maintaining secure, reliable networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network administration.
• Strong understanding of network principles and prior experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment.
• Proficient in configuration and troubleshooting methods and tools (Wireshark).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize network infrastructure within the DHMS program.
• Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with DHMS IT policies and best practices.
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment (Cisco, Juniper) using Wireshark.
• Perform network assessments, automated configurations, and documentation development including SDN.
• Maintain knowledge of system testing/analysis and networking standards and trends.
