Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a senior network engineer to design, implement, and optimize the DHMS program's network infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

You will collaborate with IT teams to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with IT policies and best practices. Experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment and Wireshark is required, with CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of network administration experience.
• Experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment.
• Proficient in Wireshark and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• CCNA, CCNP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize DHMS network infrastructure.
• Work with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with DHMS IT policies and best practices.
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment (Cisco, Juniper) using tools such as Wireshark.
• Perform network assessments, automated configurations, and documentation development, including SDN architecture.
• Analyze and design voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system testing/analysis and networking hardware/software standards, best practices, and industry trends.
