Job summary

NexGen Data Systems is seeking a talented Network Engineer with extensive experience in operating complex WAN and LAN environments, supporting networks using BGP, OSPF, and IPSec, and working with Arista routers, SD-WAN, RedHat Linux, Ansible, and Python.

You will join a collaborative team of engineers on high-visibility projects, contribute to design and deployment strategies, and help ensure secure, fault-tolerant networks while expanding your skills in cutting-edge networking technologies.

Qualifications

10-14 years of hands-on routing and firewall technology experience.
Experience deploying/configuring Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto or Juniper routers and firewalls/IPS.
8140 compliance (Active Security and OS certifications) required.
Vendor certifications (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Arista/Juniper/Palo Alto) preferred.
Experience deploying TAP environments (Gigamon, NETSCOUT, Arista DMF).
Experience with CML and EVE-NG virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

Implement design strategies to develop enterprise networks with attention to bandwidth capacity, circuit/hardware redundancy, and increased packet analysis capabilities.
Design enterprise networks utilizing eBGP, iBGP, BGP route-reflectors, IS-IS, LISP, GETVPN, and MPLS on Arista platforms to maximize throughput and improve the user experience.
Contribute to technical documentation including system design documentation, deployment/build plans, and test plans.
