Yakshna Solutions, Inc (YSI) in Virginia seeks a Senior Network Engineer to implement and support the agency’s IT network infrastructure. You will troubleshoot enterprise networks and partner with cloud, DevSecOps, and suppliers to ensure secure, scalable connectivity.

Required: CCNA/JNCIA-Junos certifications, strong LAN/WAN design, SD-WAN experience, and knowledge of routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, QoS, and IPsec. On-site role with competitive benefits and salary.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with enterprise routers, switches, VPN concentrators, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Design, install and troubleshoot local- and wide-area enterprise networks.
• Hands-on engineering and design experience in networking.
• Industry standard networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA-Junos).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues and ensure uptime.
• Use diagnostic tools and monitoring to identify problems.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders for requirements and configurations.
• Assist in documenting network topology, IP schemes, and firewall rules.
• Oversee installations, upgrades, and data network infrastructure changes.
• Coordinate with cloud and DevSecOps teams for SDWAN optimization.
• Work independently on assigned networking projects.
