Job summary

Resultant, a outcomes-focused consulting firm, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to work remotely in the US. You will design, implement, and document robust network architectures across datacenter and cloud environments, while aligning with security standards and client objectives.

You will leverage expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless to deliver strategic outcomes, mentor teammates, and support varied client engagements nationwide.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless covering datacenter and cloud.
• Leadership experience and/or potential; may grow into Lead/Management.
• Certifications such as CCNP, NSE4-6, PCNSE, AZ-700 desirable.
• Expertise with LAN, WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN and routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Strong network security knowledge including NGFW, IPS, IPsec VPN, SSLVPN.
• Cloud networking experience (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience designing/deploying network architectures at scale using Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco tech.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic planning with clients to identify projects fulfilling strategic/operational needs.
• Deliver project commitments with client teams as needed.
• Participate in daily planning, tracking, scheduling, and execution of tasks.
• Design and implement network architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Assess current network states to identify improvements in efficiency and security.
• Design and build cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Install site equipment (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless).
• Document network standards, configurations, and cabling layouts.
