Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting, LLC is seeking a senior Network Engineer to design, engineer, and sustain enterprise network infrastructure at a National Nuclear Security Administration site in the Texas Panhandle. The role is hands-on, focused on routing, switching, firewall, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure with strict security and audit standards.

The position is fully onsite in Amarillo, TX on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and requires an active federal security clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance with eligibility for reinstatement.

Responsibilities

• Administer, engineer, and sustain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Design complex routing and segmentation strategies using EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Implement and manage next-generation firewall platforms with VPN and IDS/IPS.
• Configure lifecycle management of network devices and security configurations.
• Maintain network documentation and support NOC/SOC integration.
