Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks an IT Networking Engineer to support critical federal projects in Amarillo, TX. The role focuses on maintaining core network availability and integrating security controls within a DoD/DOE environment.

The ideal candidate brings Cisco routing and switching experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and compliance with security requirements for sensitive information in a government contracting setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a related field with substantial network engineering experience.
• Active DoD TS clearance or DOE Q clearance, or eligible for reinstatement.
• 5+ years of relevant networking experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching in federal or sensitive environments.

Responsabilités

• Maintain 99.9% availability of core network infrastructure and data center fabrics.
• Resolve incidents within SLAs and develop lifecycle plans for network devices.
• Support Cisco ISE authentication, access control, and onboarding.
• Manage VoIP, WLAN, and IPAM/DNS/DHCP environments.
• Document networks, submit RFCs via ServiceNow, and comply with CAB processes.
