Job summary

Canadian Breaks Consulting LLC in Amarillo, TX seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, engineer, and sustain the enterprise network for an NNSA site. You will administer routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure with a focus on security and availability.

This hands-on role requires 10+ years in network engineering, Cisco expertise, and the ability to obtain/maintain DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant network engineering experience.
• Active DOE Q clearance or DoD Top Secret clearance or eligible for reinstatement; U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering/science/IT or 10+ years combined education/experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and sustain the enterprise network infrastructure at an NNSA site in Texas.
• Hands-on administration of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
• Work with client IT, cybersecurity, operations, and vendor personnel; maintain configuration control and audit-ready documentation.
• Fully onsite in Amarillo, TX on a 9/80 schedule with Friday off and clearance requirements.
