Job summary

Access One is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network and infrastructure environments for a diverse client portfolio. The role emphasizes hands-on onsite work in the Chicagoland area with some remote collaboration and travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of network engineering experience, strong TCP/IP and routing knowledge, and familiarity with Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, and other major platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional network engineering or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, routing and wireless networking.
• Onsite client support in Chicagoland MSP environment; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, deploy, and support LAN/WAN/WLAN environments.
• Provide on-site and remote network engineering support for clients in the Chicagoland area.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support when required.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multiple client environments.
• Lead network migrations, firewall replacements, and office relocations.
• Ensure security best practices and proper documentation.
