Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our IT team in El Segundo, CA. This role will design, implement, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers while ensuring security, reliability, and scalability across LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, with hands-on experience in multi-vendor environments (Juniper, Cisco, Dell),

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience with multi-vendor switching/routing (e.g., Juniper, Cisco, Dell), QoS, VPNs, Palo Alto platforms, and Panorama.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement robust, scalable network architectures (LAN/WAN/wireless/cloud).
• Manage network security including firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
• Lead deployment of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Ensure network resilience with DR/BC plans.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation (diagrams, configurations, policies).
