Job summary
System One in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr Network Engineer for a contract on-site engagement. You will provide senior-level network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across campus and WAN/LAN environments.
Responsibilities include designing data/voice/video solutions, developing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and monitoring performance. You will document configurations, participate in RFP reviews, and lead cross-functional teams while ensuring security best
Qualifications
- 6+ years designing, implementing, and supporting complex data networks.
- Extensive Cisco router/switch experience and routing protocols.
- NetFlow and NMS expertise; strong troubleshooting.
- HSRP and failover/redundancy experience.
- Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level network engineering support for campus and WAN/LAN.
- Design and implement data, voice, and video solutions.
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Monitor performance and resolve complex WAN/LAN/Wireless issues.
- Document diagrams, configurations, validation reports, and tests.
- Support RFP/RFQ reviews and cost-effective solutions.
- Train staff and lead cross-functional technical teams.
