Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer / Architect to design, implement, and support secure, highly available DC networks across data centers, offices and cloud environments in Salt Lake City.

The role requires expertise in spine-leaf topologies, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP/OSPF, SD-WAN, cloud networking (GCP/AWS/Azure), and network automation with IaC tools. On-site work 5 days a week; CCNP/CCIE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience designing datacenter networks with spine-leaf, VXLAN/EVPN.
• Strong routing knowledge: BGP/OSPF in enterprise networks.
• Cloud networking across GCP/AWS/Azure environments.
• SD-WAN and enterprise switching experience.
• IaC automation for network provisioning and config management.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and support secure, resilient enterprise network infrastructure across data centers, offices, and cloud.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and tune BGP/OSPF routing in large-scale networks.
• Architect and support cloud-managed networking, including SD-WAN.
• Plan for high availability, capacity, and disaster recovery.
• Develop automation with Python/Ansible/Terraform for networks.
• Monitor and analyze networks using SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus, and Wireshark.

Data Center Network Engineer / Data Center Network Architect

• Design and support secure, resilient, and highly available enterprise network architecture / network infrastructure across data centers, physical office locations, and cloud environments.

  Qualifications :

• Experience designing, building and supporting modern datacenter networks based on spine-leaf topology, VXLAN/EVPN and Cisco Nexus.

• Experience configuring, troubleshooting and tuning routing with BGP and OSPF, backed by strong knowledge of TCP/IP and enterprise networking.

• Experience designing and supporting distributed and cloud-managed network solutions, including SD-WAN, enterprise switching, wireless and Cisco Meraki.

• Experience with networking in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience planning for high availability, resiliency, capacity and disaster recovery.

• Experience with related infrastructure and security technologies, including virtualization, containers, load balancing, firewalls, DDoS protection and enterprise security practices.

• Experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python, Ansible, Terraform or similar tools.

• Experience with monitoring, observability and network analysis tools such as SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus and Wireshark.

• Experience with network troubleshooting and production support, including performance analysis, incident resolution and root cause analysis.

• Cisco certification such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
