Job summary
Insight Global in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a hands-on Senior Network Engineer to lead the engineering, security, availability, and modernization of a complex enterprise network used by first responders. The ideal candidate has deep experience with Palo Alto NGFWs, Panorama, Cisco IOS/Nexus, and enterprise routing.
This role requires 24/7 on-call rotation and 100% onsite work in Phoenix, AZ. You will mentor engineers, partner with security and operations teams, and own lifecycle management of
Qualifications
- 5+ years of network engineering in a complex enterprise.
- Expert-level Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama experience.
- Strong Cisco networking with IOS and Nexus.
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPNs, IPsec, NAT, and security best practices.
- Experience with Splunk, SolarWinds Orion, ServiceNow, and Jira.
- Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, and support of a large-scale Cisco and Palo Alto network environment.
- Serve as SME for Palo Alto NGFWs and Panorama.
- Configure Cisco IOS, Catalyst, and Nexus infrastructure.
- Manage routing: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VPNs, IPsec, NAT, and QoS.
- Drive resiliency, security, and modernization initiatives.
- Monitor health, troubleshoot, and perform upgrades and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and staff.
- Maintain network documentation and inventories.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
