Zusammenfassung

The Phoenix Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to own complex enterprise networks across multi-site environments, driving modernization and security enhancements in collaboration with cybersecurity and cloud teams.

You will design, deploy, and maintain networks, mentor junior engineers, and communicate technical concepts to executives while ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Expertise in routing (OSPF, BGP) and switching (VLANs, STP).
• Palo Alto NGFW with Panorama experience.
• Cisco ACI and Nexus 9300/9000 fabric design knowledge.
• VPN architectures including DMVPN and IPSec.
• SD-WAN deployment and optimization (Silver Peak Aruba EdgeConnect).
• Network automation with Ansible, Python (Netmiko), Terraform.
• Hybrid cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Strong documentation practices.
• Excellent communication for executive audiences.

Aufgaben

• Design and architect enterprise-grade network solutions with security and high availability.
• Lead network infrastructure projects from requirements to deployment.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans for network components.
• Perform proactive maintenance: firmware updates, patches, tuning, health monitoring.
• Manage vulnerability assessments and vendor notifications to mitigate risks.
• Maintain comprehensive network documentation and topology maps.
• Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and applications teams.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and translate to actionable plans.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.
• Communicate technical concepts to staff and senior management.
