Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering, modernize enterprise IT capabilities, and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Indo-Pacific. The role is based on JBPH-H, on customer site, and requires Final Secret clearance.

You will analyze network performance, support tactical data links, and coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams to deliver reliable, interoperable solutions.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in networking or IT field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in DoD/enterprise IT environments.
• CCNP or 8140 equivalent certification.
• Final Secret security clearance.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
• Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
• Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
• Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
