Job summary

Forged Fiber 37 is seeking a Senior Lead Network Engineer to drive design, engineering and operations of Metro Ethernet and IP/MPLS networks in a hybrid Dallas or Denver setting.

You will lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and coordinate with NOC, planning and vendor teams to deliver scalable, secure and highly available carrier-grade services. Extensive BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS/MPLS expertise and Cisco/Juniper/Ciena experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, Telecommunications, IT preferred.
• CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE or equivalent certifications desirable.
• 7+ years of telecom network engineering experience.
• Experience with Metro Ethernet and IP/MPLS networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Metro Ethernet and IP/MPLS network design.
• Guide BGP/OSPF/IS-IS/MPLS routing architectures.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices.
• Coordinate with Architecture, Operations, Planning and vendors.
