Job summary

Forged Fiber seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer to govern production data and inventory across fiber access and metro networks. You will ensure data accuracy, drive dashboards, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and leadership to enable informed decisions.

You will own governance for fiber and metro inventory, align network platforms with enterprise systems, and lead reconciliation efforts across NetBox and Odin-based tools. Hybrid work in Dallas or Denver is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 7+ years in telecommunications network engineering, ops, inventory management, OSS, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection, validation, and governance of fiber OLT, Metro, and transport network production data.
• Own inventory data governance and reconcile between networks and NetBox/Optius/Odin.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and reporting for assets, service delivery, and deployment.
• Drive data quality improvements and cross-functional coordination.
• Provide analytical support for audits, exec reporting, and business initiatives.
