Job summary

Paramount Pictures is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support scalable, highly available network services for media and corporate environments. This hands-on role collaborates across engineering, operations and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance networks.

You will troubleshoot routing, switching, and security issues, evaluate new technologies, and maintain documentation, ensuring reliable connectivity and service availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in IP networking and IP security design/implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, NetScaler or equivalent platforms.
• Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Knowledge of IP multicast and QoS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support scalable, highly available routing and switching solutions for media and corporate network environments.
• Evaluate and test new networking technologies and platforms; provide technical input and recommendations.
• Troubleshoot issues with vendors and internal teams; support lifecycle activities.
• Implement changes per change management processes with maintenance windows and validation.
• Serve as a technical resource for network operations, assisting with incident resolution and RCA.
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards.
• Participate in peer design reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Level 2/3 teams to resolve complex issues.
• Assist with knowledge sharing for junior engineers during deployments or upgrades.
