Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks an experienced network engineer to support complex IT operations within healthcare environments. You will guide engineering activities, manage network performance, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues across LAN/WAN and data centers.

The role requires 5–7 years in systems/network engineering, a related Bachelor's degree, and eligibility for a Tier 3 public trust. Knowledge of Remedy/SNOW and healthcare IT is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of systems/network engineering experience
• Experience with healthcare systems
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain ADP IT-II Public Trust Clearance (Tier 3)

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems operations.
• Directs compilation of records and reports concerning network operations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoots network performance issues.
• Analyzes network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions.
• Monitors and responds to complex technical control facility hardware and software problems.
• Interfaces with vendor support to escalate outages or degraded performance.
• Performs system-level design and configuration of products including hardware/OS specs.
• Understand LAN/WAN/Internet networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and network connection concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux troubleshooting; Remedy and SNOW experience.
• Experience with Networking.
• Knowledge of DNS records, IP addresses, NAT addresses.
• Knowledge of basic networking commands in Linux and Windows.
