Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to act as a senior SME for a government client. You will design, test, deploy, and sustain large enterprise networks across WAN, LAN, DNS, wireless, and cloud connectivity, and lead complex engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or 15+ years IT network engineering experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering and design.
• Experience with large enterprise WAN/LAN, DNS, wireless, and network security and management tools.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Lead network engineering, design, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting for enterprise WAN, LAN, DNS, wireless, tools, and cloud environments.
• Maintain design integrity, security, performance, availability and reliability of client enterprise network services.
• Develop secure network designs for Government facilities, data centers, remote users, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Produce and maintain requirements, high/low level designs, diagrams, test plans, and change documentation.
• Provide Tier 3 technical assistance for complex network requests and identify root causes.
• Test new technologies, hardware, software, configurations, patches, and vendor fixes before production.
• Support change control, capacity planning, and disaster recovery activities.
• Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, security, identity, and operations to deploy solutions.
• Brief Government stakeholders, mentor engineers, and lead technical reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a closely related technical field
