Job summary

The position emphasizes technical leadership, deployment of new technologies, and collaboration across IT teams to maintain secure, reliable network services for Navy bases worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3 years general experience in administrative/technical IT work
• 5 years specialized Cisco networking experience in enterprise/Data Center environments
• Experience with MPLS and VPN in multi-site environments
• Knowledge of DISA Security guidelines and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

• Serve as top-level technical contributor and lead for WAN/LAN networking
• Lead R&D of new networking technologies and cost analyses
• Design and test Cisco network equipment integration across 100+ sites
• Ensure security and IA policies are applied across systems and services
