Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and secure global network infrastructure spanning data centers, on-prem sites, and public clouds. You will automate provisioning, collaborate with multiple engineering teams, and support mission-critical workloads.

The role may be based in San Mateo, CA or Seattle, WA, with limited travel to Shield AI sites. Requirements include 6+ years in complex networks, routing/switching expertise, and proficiency in NX-OS/Junos/EOS,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with complex network systems in production.
• Expertise in routing, switching, and security architectures.
• Proficiency in NX-OS, JunOS, or Arista EOS.
• Proficiency in PAN-OS or FortiOS.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain resilient network systems for data centers, on-premises sites, and cloud networks.
• Implement secure connectivity, WAN, VPN, and firewall infrastructures.
• Develop network automation for provisioning, monitoring, and config management.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Platform, Security, and Infra teams on standardized architectures.
• Lead network projects, perform capacity planning, and drive optimization.
• Support change-management and security governance with engineering peers.
