The University of Georgia is seeking a Network Administrator to join Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) in Network Engineering. This on-site role supports mission critical network technologies across 80K+ nodes on campus and statewide campuses.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining network systems, firewalls, VPNs, IPAM, and DNS; plus capacity planning and security hardening. Evening/weekend on-call may be required.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5 years of professional experience.
Experience implementing and supporting large networks.
Familiarity with firewall, VPNs, and IP address management.

Evaluate, recommend, design, and maintain network systems and applications that provide mission critical central services.
Implement, manage and provide operational support for enterprise network services.
Manage and support operation of enterprise firewall services.
Implement and manage enterprise Intrusion Prevention/Detection systems.
Patch network and security systems and applications; monitor production systems; perform backups and recoveries.
Document network diagrams and system configurations.
