Job summary

Privatelabelstaff is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise network environments across on premises and cloud connections. You will lead security architecture, firewall management, VPN configurations, and network segmentation while partnering with IT and cybersecurity teams.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, incident response, documentation, and staying current with NGFW technologies such as Palo Alto and Check Point.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security solutions.
• Manage and support firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, routing, switching, wireless infrastructure, and cloud connectivity.
• Perform firewall deployments, rule migrations, firewall administration, and policy conversions.
• Configure and maintain security policies, access controls, and network security technologies.
• Monitor network traffic, security events, logs, alerts, and performance metrics to identify risks.
• Investigate and resolve complex network and cybersecurity incidents.
• Perform security risk assessments and address vulnerabilities and operational risks.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the IT project lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging networking and cybersecurity technologies for enterprise adoption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, security configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop integrated technology solutions.
