Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer to lead development, implementation, and optimization of our enterprise network infrastructure. You will architect secure LAN/WAN solutions, manage Palo Alto firewalls and Aruba networking, and mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Join our ITOps - Global Network Infrastructure team and contribute to high‑availability projects, incident response, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network engineering.
Proficiency with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Aruba networking solutions.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable network solutions across LAN/WAN environments.
Direct projects related to Palo Alto firewalls, policy development, threat prevention, and VPN setup.
Manage and optimize Aruba switching infrastructure and wireless (ClearPass, AirWave).
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues using diagnostic tools.
Implement and enforce network security guidelines and compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and business applications.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the team.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response efforts.
Build and support dark fiber solutions for high-capacity network infrastructure.
