Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support connectivity across enterprise data and wireless networks. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, monitor performance, and document configurations.

Collaboration with IT teams across geographies is essential. Qualified candidates have 6+ years in complex networks, certifications (CCNA/CWNA), and strong TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and security knowledge.

Qualifications

• 6+ years’ experience in installation and maintenance of complex networks.
• CCNA or CWNA highly preferred/desired.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wireless, TCP/IP protocols and network technologies.
• Experience with overlay technologies including ACI, MPLS, SDWAN, SDN.
• Understanding of routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, RIP, Route Maps, Route Redistribution, IPSec/VPN.

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices (APs, routers, switches).
• Monitor WAN circuits and related hardware/software operations.
• Resolve Level1-2 incidents; escalate to Level3 as needed.
• Maintain network docs, drawings, SOPs.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and carriers for problem resolution.
• Install/maintain network monitoring and admin systems.
• Respond to inquiries and issues; escalate when appropriate.
• Plan capacity and monitor network performance.
• Manage changes and incidents.
