Job summary

Tech Mirrors is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Richmond, VA to provide technical leadership for enterprise network deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives. This role serves as the primary technical authority for solution design validation, deployment oversight, troubleshooting leadership, and coordination across the project team.

Qualifications

8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
CCNP Enterprise certification required.
Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst switching (9300 preferred).
Expert knowledge of VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, StackWise and L2/L3 networking.
Experience leading network migrations and cutover activities.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience producing technical documentation and network diagrams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of enterprise network deployment initiatives.
Validate network design, configuration standards, and implementation approach.
Oversee VLAN design, Layer 2/Layer 3 architecture, and switching standards.
Provide technical direction to deployment engineers during implementation activities.
Coordinate cutover activities and ensure execution alignment across teams.
Validate hardware readiness, configuration staging and deployment sequencing.
Oversee implementation quality and adherence to standards.
