Job summary

Rackspace US, Inc. is seeking a senior Network Engineer IV to design, architect, and support enterprise networks across multiple data centers. The role emphasizes scalable fabric design (ACI/SDA), complex troubleshooting, and security posture reviews.

You will lead projects, mentor peers, and drive automation using Python and Ansible to ensure policy consistency and rapid deployment across environments. Hybrid work in the Seattle area with on-site as needed.

Qualifications

8–11 years of network engineering experience.
Advanced knowledge of Cisco ACI and data center fabric design.
Deep understanding of BGP/OSPF and multi-site architectures.
NAC concepts and enforcement with ForeScout/ ClearPass.

Responsibilities

Designs scalable, resilient network solutions across routing, switching, fabric, and security domains.
Leads complex troubleshooting of routing, fabric, and firewall policy conflicts.
Architects and maintains Cisco ACI and SDA fabrics, including policy and segmentation.
Manages Cisco and Aruba wireless environments and NAC integration.
Configures network security and access control policies and accelerates deployment via automation.
Mentors engineers and participates in on-call rotations.
