Job summary

Walt Disney Animation Studios is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Network Services team in Burbank. You will design, deploy, and support data networks across on-prem, cloud, and campus environments to enable production workflows.

You will work with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and Infoblox gear, provide 24x7 coverage, implement security measures, and mentor teammates while documenting processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years designing and implementing network solutions for large-scale, high-performance compute/storage environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Layer 1–4 networking technologies and protocols.
• Knowledge of Linux/macOS or Unix-based OS.
• Strong knowledge of TACACS and RADIUS.
• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, Infoblox, Aruba Clearpass, etc.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to deploy, manage, and optimize systems on on-prem and cloud networks.
• Install and configure networking tech from Cisco, Nexus, Arista, Aruba Clearpass, Palo Alto.
• Configure networks across Linux, macOS, Windows, VMs/containers, and storage clusters.
• Collaborate with Technology team on security and performance.
• Publish documentation and manage vendor contracts and budgets.
