Job summary

Walt Disney Animation Studios in California is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Network Services team, supporting on-premises and cloud networking across multiple studios and partners.

You will design, configure, and troubleshoot complex networks, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide 24x7 operational coverage while driving improvements in security, performance, and documentation. A strong background in large-scale networks is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing large-scale network solutions.
• Expert in L2/L3, routing, and VPNs.
• Experience with on-prem and cloud networks.
• OS knowledge: Linux/macOS/Windows.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and optimize on-prem and cloud networks.
• Configure devices from Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto.
• Configure networks across Linux/macOS/Windows environments.
• Collaborate with Technology team on security and performance.
• Improve procedures and policies across the studio.
• Provide guidance to neighboring teams on technical challenges.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for service interruptions and publish documentation.
• Manage vendor contracts and budgeting for networking needs.
