Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Next Generation Environment (NGE) on the IRES contract. You will engineer, configure, implement, and secure high-speed data center fabrics and SDN enclaves underpinning the Missile Defense Agency’s digital environment.

You will work with Cisco Nexus, VMware NSX, Versa SD-WAN, F5 BIG-IP, and Infoblox to deliver cohesive hybrid cloud and on-premises networks while adhering to DoD security requirements and Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• Must have 12+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• Must have 6+ years of directly related experience.
• Must have 1+ year of experience in a management or leadership role.
• Must hold DoW Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret.
• Must have DoW 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher certification.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, implement, and secure high-speed data center fabrics and SDN enclaves.
• Configure Cisco Nexus Spine-Leaf EVPN-VxLAN fabrics and VMware NSX networks.
• Deploy F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM and Infoblox DDI/IPAM services.
• Develop IaC scripts and automate network deployments.
