Job summary

Columbia Bank in Irvine, CA is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure for the organization. This role focuses on reliable connectivity, performance, security, and compliance across a diverse technology environment.

You will support data center networking, including Cisco ACI, and contribute to cloud migration projects while collaborating with IT and business teams to meet network requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience supporting Cisco networks.
• Advanced routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and network services (DHCP, DNS, VoIP, QoS).
• Advanced experience with SD-WAN solutions.
• Advanced experience with Meraki switches, APs and MX devices.
• Experience with datacenter gear (Cisco Nexus 7k/5k/2k/9k, ISR, ASR).
• Advanced with testing tools and procedures for data networks.
• Advanced branch and datacenter router, switch, and firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proficient customer service skills and strong communication to stakeholders.
• Advanced experience with Cisco ACI and network automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage secure scalable network solutions with other teams.
• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure including datacenter ACI, devices, and firewalls.
• Architect and manage datacenter/branch network infrastructure including drawings and diagrams to production.
• Provide technical expertise and escalation for network technologies and services.
• Manage and establish version and configuration control of network devices.
• Direct and mentor a team of Network Engineers with technical guidance.
• Design and manage Hybrid Cloud infrastructure and 3rd party connections.
• Lead cloud migration projects for applications and services.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and provide solutions.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships and lifecycle support for network assets.
• Coordinate BCP testing of critical Network connectivity and regulatory compliance.
