• Own quantifiable analysis and capacity forecast models for scalable, efficient Google networks and predictable user experience.
• Evaluate inefficiencies in network systems and propose designs, software, and processes to improve them.
• Own resolution for software, hardware, and other network issues in partnership with other engineering teams.
• Lead the full life cycle of a network: inception, design, qualification, deployment, operation, and optimization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$218,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Drive innovation, create requirements, and develop designs for new networking product ideas, process improvements, technology velocity, systems performance, and cost reductions across organizational boundaries.
• Own the quantifiable analysis of measurements or data and capacity forecast models for making Google networks more scalable, efficient, and deliver a predictable user experience.
• Evaluate the current inefficiencies, complexities, and flaws in network systems, and propose designs, software, and processes to improve them.
• Own resolution for software, hardware, and other network and system problems by determining and recommending appropriate solutions in partnership with other engineering teams.
• Lead and improve the entire life cycle of a network, including inception, network design, qualification, deployment, operation, and optimization.
