Job summary

Condé Nast in New York, NY seeks a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure our enterprise network across offices and data centers. You will manage routing, switching, wireless, and firewall policies, with hands-on data center experience and a focus on security.

The role requires expertise in BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, Palo Alto firewalls, and cloud networking with AWS. A strong scripting background (Terraform, Python) and zero-trust concepts are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; certifications preferred.
• 5–8+ years in enterprise network engineering with multi-site ownership.
• Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VXLAN, VPC.
• Hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls and threat prevention.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS) and IaC (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise routing and switching across offices and data centers.
• Deploy high-density Wi-Fi using cloud dashboards and access points.
• Perform RF surveys and heat maps to fix coverage and roaming issues.
• Secure wireless and wired edges with WPA3, 802.1X, and RADIUS/TACACS+.
• Manage firewall policies, S2S VPNs, and threat prevention; ensure security posture.
