Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in network engineering, cloud networking, or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep experience with AWS including EC2 and core networking services.
• Strong grasp of cloud security principles and network protection approaches.
• Experience with firewalls, routing, VPN technologies, and network security controls.
• Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, IP addressing, subnetting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale production cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking Specialty preferred.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation; scripting with Python or Bash; hybrid cloud familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS networking solutions including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, VPNs, Direct Connect, load balancers, and security groups.
• Manage and fine-tune EC2 networking, connectivity, and performance.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls, including rule administration and security policies.
• Implement and support networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IPsec, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS.
• Build and support secure hybrid cloud environments that connect AWS with on-premises infrastructure.
• Carry out advanced troubleshooting for latency, connectivity, routing, and security issues.
• Develop and maintain cloud network architecture documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to deliver dependable cloud solutions.
