Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a Network Administrator III to design, implement, and manage our Cisco-based network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls. You will ensure stability, security, and efficiency to support mission-critical activities and programs.

The role requires strong TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, and routing knowledge, plus hands-on experience with Cisco equipment. On-site with some hybrid flexibility, the team emphasizes collaboration and reliable operations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
CCNP certification or 5+ years proven experience in network administration, preferably with Cisco equipment.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN configuration, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and network security.

Responsibilities

Designs and deploys Cisco-based and other network solutions to meet organizational requirements.
Configure and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
Implements network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and attacks.
Conducts regular security audits and ensures compliance with policies and standards.
Monitors network performance and optimizes infrastructure for uptime.
Troubleshoot network issues and maintain accurate network documentation.
Generates reports on network performance, capacity, and availability.
Provides technical support to end-users regarding network issues.
Manages vendor relationships for network hardware/software, procurement and support.
Resolves Tier 1–3 networking requests.
Adheres to process protocols and maintains up-to-date records.
