Job summary

Hunter Douglas is seeking an experienced network engineer responsible for planning, design, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. You will configure Cisco routers, switches, wireless, security appliances, and VPNs while ensuring security and performance across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have CCNA or equivalent, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, and hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/Nexus and Palo Alto Firewalls. This role supports a hybrid work model with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science preferred.
• 6+ years in support/maintenance of network equipment and distribution systems.
• CCNA or equivalent certification required; additional certs preferred.
• Strong TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, FTP, BGP/EIGRP knowledge.
• Experience with Cisco routers/switches, wireless, and OS (Cisco IOS/Nexus).

Responsibilities

• Maintain enterprise network design and security standards.
• Configure and operate Cisco/ Meraki network infrastructure and VPNs.
• Lead design and setup of complex routing/switching environments.
• Support multi-site networks and perform system upgrades.
• Document work activities and assist with project implementations.
