Job summary

Saliense is seeking a skilled network engineer to join our Arlington, VA team onsite. You will manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, configure Cisco Nexus/Catalyst and Aruba wireless, and support AWS-based network architectures.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience, CCNA or equivalent, IAT II, and hands-on NAT, firewall, and radius AAA skills. Join Saliense for a collaborative, growth-focused environment with strong benefits.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of relevant experience.
Experience developing, maintaining and supporting technical infrastructure for mid- to large-sized projects.
Experience in installation, maintenance, and support of system software/hardware and providing user support.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems under uncertain conditions.
Hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS environment and services.

Responsibilities

LAN infrastructure support: staging, installation and maintenance of Cisco Nexus/Catalyst and Aruba wireless controllers.
WAN support: BGP neighbor configurations.
Cloud architecture support for AWS (IAM, VPC, S3, EC2).
Security policy configuration on Palo Alto firewalls (App-ID, User-ID, Global Protect, NAT).
AAA configuration using Radius for Cisco, Aruba, and Palo Alto platforms.
Network troubleshooting of TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, ACLs, and connectivity on Cisco/Palo Alto devices.
Monitoring with SolarWinds and maintaining network documentation.
