Job summary

Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking a Network Engineer 3 to own design, deployment, and reliability of PALIG's enterprise network and voice systems. You will work on LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity with Cisco, HPE, and SD-WAN platforms, while collaborating with Security and Cloud teams.

The role requires English/Spanish fluency and a hands-on, results-driven approach. Hybrid work options are available, with preference for near Oak Brook/Chicago, IL, but

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience collaborating with Network Architecture and Network Security teams.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/SD-WAN, wireless, voice, and cloud connectivity.
• Conversational fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise network and voice infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco/HPE devices and SD‑WAN (Silver Peak/Aruba EdgeConnect).
• Manage routing (BGP), firewall integration (Palo Alto/Cisco), and VPN/connectivity to cloud services.
• Support contact center connectivity (AWS, Cisco, or Microsoft) and VoIP call flows.
• Document configurations, runbooks, and change processes; lead incident response.
