Job summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a senior Network Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead the architecture, design, and operation of enterprise network and connectivity across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. The role requires deep networking expertise with hands‑on Azure experience, automation, and a focus on secure, scalable connectivity for complex multi-site operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of progressive enterprise networking experience.
• Deep Azure networking experience with VNets, ExpressRoute, and VNet peering.
• Experience designing hybrid on-prem and cloud networks and security.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional network projects and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network architectures across data center, campus, branch, and cloud.
• Architect and operate hybrid connectivity including ExpressRoute, VPN, and vWAN to Azure.
• Monitor health, performance, and availability of network and cloud services.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvements.
• Serve as Tier 3 escalation for complex production network issues.
• Provide strategic input for modernization, cloud adoption, and digital initiatives.
• Design and support routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting and IaC where appropriate.
• Coordinate with vendors and managed services partners; produce runbooks and diagrams.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical discussions on architecture decisions.
