Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on network engineering with automation
• Experience automating firewall platforms (Palo Alto, F5, Cloudflare)
• Expertise with Azure networking constructs (VNets, Application Gateway, WAF) via IaC
• Knowledge of DNS/IPAM (NetBox) data models and automation
• Familiarity with VMware NSX-T network segmentation and DFW concepts
• Proficiency with Ansible for network/firewall tasks and Terraform/OpenTofu provisioning
• Ability to operate in change-control processes for high-blast-radius changes
• Willingness to use AI-assisted development (GitHub Copilot)
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+)
• Exposure to global traffic management and multi-region failover patterns

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain firewall automation modules across Palo Alto, F5, and Cloudflare
• Build DNS and NetBox IPAM automation for zone/record management
• Deliver Azure core connectivity modules (VNets/subnets, App Gateway, WAF, Azure Firewall) via Terraform/OpenTofu
• Support VMware NSX-T segment and DFW rule implementation with the VMware team
• Handle commit/lock procedures for concurrent firewall pipeline changes
• Troubleshoot production network/firewall issues within change-control processes
