Job summary

Supermicro seeks an experienced Sr. Network Engineer to lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of high-performance networking solutions for AI factories, data centers, and enterprise environments.

This role requires hands-on leadership with NVIDIA Spectrum switches, InfiniBand, and end-to-end AI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will manage multi-vendor fabrics, support internal labs and POC demos, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data center network engineering experience.
• 2) Deep knowledge of NVIDIA Spectrum switches, InfiniBand, and AI factory architectures.
• 3) Experience with RoCEv2, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN.
• 4) Scripting/automation with Python and Ansible is a plus.
• 5) Excellent cross-functional and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy data center networks using NVIDIA Spectrum and InfiniBand.
• 0) Lead integration for AI factory reference architectures with low latency.
• 1) Manage and support internal labs and POC environments.
• 2) Test interoperability and performance of routing and fabric topologies.
• 3) Collaborate with systems, hardware, software/DevOps, and FAEs.
• 4) Create network diagrams, deployment guides, and troubleshooting playbooks.
• 5) Provide technical leadership during customer deployments and escalations.
• 6) Stay current with networking standards and HPC interconnects.
